Description:"Portland's Free Them 5K" (www.worldconcern.org/Portland5k) is an extension from the annual "Free Them 5K" in Seattle. This is the first time this run is being extended to another city. The run is a fundraiser for World Concern's Anti-Human Trafficking Programs (http://www.worldconcern.org/).

Description:It's here! The 1st Annual Portland "Free Them" 5K Fun Run/Walk to fight human trafficking on Saturday, May 25th, 2013! This annual event in Seattle has drawn thousands of partipiants over the years and now it's headed to Portland! Last year (the 5th Annual in Seattle), the event drew nearly 2,000 participants and raised $143,000 to protect women and children from trafficking. The event is a fun, tangible way to take a stand against one of the most horrific crimes of our generation. The "Free Them" 5k raises awareness and funds for World Concern's anti-trafficking programs, which help protect the poor and vulnerable, providing opportunities for education and to earn income safely.
